Java.exe consuming lot of CPU

Hi,

I have installed Labs 3B successfully. whenever I try to checkin any content or delete through webclient or CIFS, the java.exe consumes 60% of the CPU and entire operation becomes very slow.

Can anybody help me please.

60% does not seem unreasonable for a busy server.

How long does this 60% spike last for?
And how slow is slow, are you seeing it for a couple of seconds or is it something more serious?

There could be lots of things affecting performance.   Is your system running well prior to using Alfresco?

This happens whenever I am checking in contents or deleting any contents through webclient. Once the operation is complete, CPU comes back to normal. I have one more instance of Alfresco running (Labs 3), with out any problem. But Labs 3b is the one that is creating the problem.
