Java 6 and Alfresco

It has come to my attention from some developers that the JavaScript debugger has issues with Java 6. What's the official version of Java does Alfresco support.

I have heard that this specific issue (Rhino debugger is incompatible with v1.6 JVMs) has been fixed in 3.0, although I haven't tried it myself yet.
