Is there any advantage to use JSP rather than FTL

Dears Guru,

I there any advantage to use JSP for develop "Alfresco Dashlet" rather than using freemarker ftl ?

I think the same services are available for two ways of development; it would be better to use JSP rather than freemarker ftl cause
set of JSF have more ready-made components.


Can you please spot a light on this angle cause i'm facing a stage required a decision.

That's a big debate …  :roll:

I think I'd start with freemarker since its far simpler.     However JSP/JSF is far more capable and with that complicated  :!: so if you are familiar with it and have complex requirements then I'd consider using it.
