Is the CE ready for production usage?

Hi everyone,

I am thinking to use the Alfresco Community Edition for production. Is it okay and stable?

I am evaluating the software and before going one step further into commercial edition … plan to roll out the CE first. I heard from someone that Alfresco CE is the latest edition but may not be stable and suitable for production (i mean used by real customers). Is that true?

Other than that, I plan to have integrations with liferay. Wonder the alfresco ce and integrate with liferay ce version too?

Any help?

I believe CE is stable for production, and I'm using it into production. However, I've experienced huge differences in performance using CE against commercial version.
