Trying to edit documents through microsoft office 2016 but the document versioning doesn't update or increment when saving the edited changes

It works fine with office 2013, is there something that needs to be done with office 2016 installation in order to allow it work as usual.

Thanks alot in advance

Alfresco Lab 3 (or Community Edition 3.x for that matter) is certainly not compatible with some of the changes in the SharePoint protocol that have been introduced over the years and in Office 2016. Alfresco Lab 3 is more than 6 years old by now and has been superseded by 7 main releases. The way how Microsoft Office interacts with Alfresco has recently been completely refactored with the introduction of Alfresco Office Services.

For best compatibility with Office 2016 an upgrade to Alfresco 5.1 is required.
