Intermediate None Event not supported in 5.9?

The user guide shows a diagram under the "Intermediate throwing none event" section with a none event and xml to attach a listener.
The Eclipse modeler has a NoneThrowingEvent widget but it draws as a simple circle (expecting nested circle) and doesn't permit a listener to be attached.
Is this broken? Is this coming in 5.10?

Has this been fixed already? I can still see the same behavior in 5.12 version designer. Is there a JIRA ticket for this issue?
