Intergrating LDAP with Alfresco

Hi All,

I'm new to Alfresco and am very impressed with what i have seen so far.

I'm looking to add LDAP authentication for user logins; I have looked at multiple posts/documents and have tried many different methods but with no joy.

Any ideas on the best way to implement this?

Have you looked at the wiki, http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Alfresco_Authentication_Subsystems#LDAP? There is a good write up on LDAP.

Thanks for the reply, I have managed to get ldap authentication working now.

Unfortunately i am unable to get the sync working?  my users can log in but details such as email address etc aren't pulled through despite me enabling the sync and ensuring that the correct fields are defined.

Any ideas?

Hi All,

Could someone please advise? all I want to do is pull out email address, firstname, surname for each one of my users.  Authentication is currently working but no information is pulled through.  ive tried configuring the ldap sync but had no joy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am not able to get LDAP working at all.. What version of Alfresco are you using?

im using the latest on on the download site, 3.3 i believe

is the LDAP Sync available in the community edition or is it just in the enterprise?
