Installing alfresco enterprise 3.0 version on Windows XP

Hi. I have installed the Alfresco Enterprise version 3.0 on Windows XP machine. It gave no error while installation.

But when I try to run the alfresco application in the browser, it gives the below error

org.alfresco.error.AlfrescoRuntimeException: Error during getUserPreferencesRef(): Write operations are not allowed in read-only mode (FlushMode.NEVER/MANUAL): Turn your Session into FlushMode.COMMIT/AUTO or remove 'readOnly' marker from transaction definition

Kindly suggest a solution..

Have you installed a valid Enterprise licence file?

I haven't installed the license file separately.
I have downloaded the evaluation version setup and just installed it.

And in the server startup log it says

15:43:00,397 Userystem INFO  [service.descriptor.DescriptorService] Alfresco license: Enterprise - v3.0 granted to Trial User
limited to 30 days expiring
Sun Feb 08 00:00:00 PST 2009 (27 days remaining)

Also, in the server startup it has the following entry in the log. Is it anyway connected to this error ?

In that case I think you should call support who will help get up and running.
