Good morning,
Just you should know I'm rather new to Alfresco.
I want to install Alfresco 3.4.2 in a test environment, on a Suse 11 server.
We need to install Alfresco, tomcat, jave and Oracle.
Is there an order how to install these components?
Is there an install file who installs all these components, or do I have to install one by one.
Many thanks for your feedback
Lainkes

Consider java, tomcat and Oracle as pre-requisites before you install Alfresco.
If you're doing the tomcat/ war install then look for the other pre-requisites as well.
Have a look at this link http://docs.alfresco.com/community/topic/com.alfresco.community.doc/concepts/master-ch-install.html
Apart from things like imagemagick, swftools etc, you also need OpenOffice or LibreOffice.
If you want to make it easy, install java but use the bundled installer, install info here http://docs.alfresco.com/community/topic/com.alfresco.community.doc/concepts/simpleinstalls-communit...
Cheers, Sasquatch
