IMAP Problem with .eml files in 3.4d

Hello,

i have the following problem:
New .eml files are not show in any Mail Client after Upgrade from 3.2 to 3.4d on Debian Etch.
I also tested a clean 3.4d on a mac, same problem. I have tested with Thunderbird 3.1, Mac Mail and Outlook.
The Mail clients can read the content of folders, as long there are no .eml files in. If I put an .eml file in, I get a Network error in Thunderbird or a "Folder can not be read" in Mac Mail. I have set the log level for IMAP to debug, but cannot see any errors in the alfresco log.

I found out that old .eml files (before the upgrade) can be shown. But if I drag them to a new location, they are handeled like new ones and cannot be shown anymore.

When I compare the Aspects and Assocs I see the following:

Old Mail:
Aspects: {http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}auditable
{http://www.alfresco.org/model/system/1.0}referenceable

There are a lot more Assocs and the metadata extraction seems more useful, but the new one can not only be shown, it hinders the folder to be read at all.

Am I searching In the right direction ?
Is there anybody running 3.4d (full stack - CM, RM, WCM) on linux or mac with the same problems or without  ?

Thanks in advance
Tobias

I think I am having the same problem as well.  I am running the latest version of Community Edition, full stack, on a Slackware Linux VMWare server.

I've configured IMAP by adding the following lines to alfresco-global.properties:

imap.server.enabled=true
imap.server.host=192.168.211.25
imap.server.port=143
imap.server.attachments.extraction.enabled=true

imap.config.home.store=${spaces.store}
imap.config.home.rootPath=/${spaces.company_home.childname}
imap.config.home.folderPath=Imap Home
imap.config.server.mountPoints=AlfrescoIMAP
imap.config.server.mountPoints.default.mountPointName=IMAP
imap.config.server.mountPoints.default.modeName=ARCHIVE
imap.config.server.mountPoints.default.store=${spaces.store}
imap.config.server.mountPoints.default.rootPath=/${spaces.company_home.childname
}
imap.config.server.mountPoints.value.AlfrescoIMAP.mountPointName=Alfresco IMAP
imap.config.server.mountPoints.value.AlfrescoIMAP.modeName=MIXED

I am able to open up IMAP folders in Thunderbird, and to drag and drop files into these folders.  However, the .eml files that are dragged into the Inbox folder are not visible in the Thunderbird client, although they do appear instantly when I view the repository via the web interface.

Anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong here?  I have not had any luck searching the forums, so if they answer is already here somewhere I would be most obliged if someone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks.
