Hi
  Now in my alfresco installation I have two "share-config-custom.xml". they are at

/tomcat/webapps/share/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/web-extension/share-config-custom.xml
/tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/web-extension/share-config-custom.xml

/tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/web-extension/share-config-custom.xml
=> represents Repository Library config section

/tomcat/webapps/share/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/web-extension/share-config-custom.xml
=> represents Document Library Config

My concern is that since I have two  XML files of the same name, does it affect the system work. Do I need to change the name of one of the file for more clarity or better keep as it is.
           Thanks

I do not think it will support both the files.
Only one of them will be in effect in the end.
Better you merge both the files and maintain only one file.
That is the best practice.
