I need some help!!!

Hi!

I'm making my first steps in the world of web-based applications. I need to use Alfreco software in a project and I need to know if there must be installed other softwares in the computer before instaling Alfresco in order to work properly.
If someone could give me some help I will very thankfull.

Alfresco is a web-application that requires a Java servlet container (such as TomCat, JBoss or similar) and a database to store repository meta-data. A good way to get everything you need setup in one go is to use the installers which include everything including TomCat, MySQL and Alfresco all ready to go:

Either the alfresco-1.3.0dev-linux-community.bin or the     alfresco-1.3.0dev-windows-community.exe depending on your system.
