HTTP Status 404 - /share/

Hi All,

So, Installed this add-on: http://code.google.com/p/report-dashlet/ on my Alfresco Community 4.0.e localhost. I've followed the README.txt insructions on how to install it, right after I drop the report-dashlet-alfresco-extension.amp to the C:/Alfresco/amps folder then clicking the apply_amps.bat on the C:/Alfresco/bin folder the whole Alfresco Share went down. Did I miss anything?

The error:

HTTP Status 404 - /share/

type Status report

message /share/

description The requested resource (/share/) is not available.

Apache Tomcat/6.0.29

Hi Murali,

I did the Approach 1 and right after I login this error message showed up: "The remote server may be unavailable or your authentication details have not been recognized."

Where should I go from here.

Have you got anything logged in alfresco.log and share.log?
Are you able to log-in into alfresco explorer application? (http://localhost:8080/alfresco.

Hi Murali,

No, I couldn't login to the Alfresco Explorer application. But I can view the Alfresco Share but can't login.

Hi JP,
That means, your alfresco repository itself failed. Can you please check your alfresco.log and post the information?

I've successfully run the Dashlet Report on the Alfresco Share I feel so happy now! After all the trial and error. Thanks for your tutorial and the proper way of installing an amp file and a dashlet. I really prefer the Approach 1.

Now I can start tweaking, playing around with this dashlet report. You're a big help for me.

Every time restart Alfresco, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnot. It is taking  my lot of time and I am new to Alfresco. Please help me on this. Where should I look into to debug the error.
