How to upgrade activiti from version 5.7 to 5.9?

Hi all,

i need to upgrade my activiti from 5.7 to 5.9. Is there anything i need to notice?
If i upgrade it, do the tasks generated by 5.7  can run right in 5.9?

We provide database upgrade scripts with every release.
So if you would run the upgrade scripts of 5.8 and 5.9 it should be straightforward to upgrade.

Does the system run the upgrade scripts automatically or I need to run the scripts manually ?!
