hello All,
I am moving my very first steps with Alfresco, so please be kind! 😉
I have created a user, me, a home space, and imported a pdf.
Now, how do I tag it?
I can't seem to be able to create tags or categories.
Also, doing a search with a word inside a pdf won't return the document, nor doing a search on the selected category.
thanks for reading!
cheers,
-Gian

You can do that using a webscript.

If you're using the older Explorer client (/alfresco) then tagging is a little tricky, but can still be done.
- Choose Run Action, then Apply Aspect
- Choose the "Taggable" aspect and finish the wizard
On the details page you'll then see a "Tags" property. If you edit the data (clicking the icon in the top-right of the panel) you can then click the empty tags label to bring up a tag picker control.
All this is easier in the Share client (/share) which has much better native support for tagging.
Thanks,
Mike

I'm glad you say it's a little tricky, because I felt soooo stupid….
thanks for helping,
