How to stop alfresco service

Hello,

I installed alfresco on ubuntu 9.04 by

apt-get install alfresco-community‍

– very nice!

But now I have to stop alfresco service for manipulating conf-files.

How to do it? I googled, but cannot find any of the shell-scripts mentioned in google…

This site http://jared.ottleys.net/alfresco/alfresco-community-3-2-ubuntu-package-explained should give you all the information.  Normally with linux there is a script under /etc/init.d related to the application which allows you to stop/start/restart it.
