How to setup drop down list to choose for metadata field???

I know this has been discussed somewhat on other posts, but could not see a recent post or a real resolution.

I want to provide a down down list for the user to select from when
editing document details (metadata).   This would allow me to enforce the vocabulary.

You're right the bug was fixed in our enterprise branch, however, these bugs (up until the community final release goes out) are being merged into the HEAD branch.

Therefore, if you get the latest code from SVN you should have the fix or if you can wait it will be in the final community version, due to be released next week.

Ok Gavin, I've get the latest code from HEAD, but i don't know what should i change on my Alfresco? PropertySheetItem?? UIPropertySheet??

I have done a list box for a custom property, it is working fine.  Now I wanted to use it in advanced search, I configured  like this

<config evaluator="string-compare" condition="Advanced Search">     
   <advanced-search>       
      <content-types>          
          <type name="cm:content" />
       </content-types>       
      <custom-properties>
         <meta-data type="cm:content" property="cm:docRating" />
      </custom-properties>
      </advanced-search>
   </config>


Here docRating is my custom property, Now it is getting as text field I wanted it to be list box like which is there in the property sheet. 

Can you please guide me how to get my custom property in the advanced search as list box.
