How to Reply To Someone else Forum Topic

Hi,

I created a user called "ABC" and then created a forum inside it and a Topic "MyFirstForumTopic" and now i logged off and logged in as different User. I am now not able to see nor able to reply / post to that forum..

Please suggest as to what should i do to reply or post to that forum topic

Hi,

I have invited that user to post.. when i login as the second user.. i have to navigate manually to the forum topic to post a reply. There is no notification through email or any dialog box poping up on login as he has been invited for post in forum.. nor the link to that post shows up on the home page.

Though i can create a short cut but thats too only once i have posted to the forum.

I hope i am able to clear what exactly i am looking for..

Hi,

Now, i am able to deliver the emails to the users.. to whom i am inviting.. The users are getting the emails also.. But when i log in as the user who has been invited there is no notification on the home after login that there is something invitation to him.

I can still navigate through the link that is provided to the user in the email. But i can not click on the link provided in the email as in the email it says "YourServer:8080" where as my server name is  "riagarwal:8080". I made the changes in the email templates but still getting the same.

Please suggest..

2 possible ways :
Have you restart your alfresco after made this changes ?
Do you have change this file inside or outside the webapp ?

Thanks, It worked fine.. I did not restarted the server earlier.. once restarted it worked fine..
