How to make alfresco accessible via domain

My alfresco is accessible via <server IP address>:8070/share.

Is there a way for me to access it via a domain or subdomain? I have ISPConfig installed on the same server and I have a domain name which I want to point to <server IP address>:8070/share.

For example if i type, mydomain.com/alfresco, it will show <server IP address>:8070/share but not redirect it there. Do you have any suggestions as to how this can be achieved?

This question is not really related to Alfresco but general domain management / web hosting. You can already access Alfresco with the domain name of the server it is hosted on. So if your server is called alfrescoHost.mydomain.com then you can use alfrescoHost.mydomain.com:8070/share.

If you do not want to include the host name in the URL then you will have to register a DNS record with the registrar of the .com top-level-domain that maps mydomain.com to the IP of your host.
