How to login after Tomcat installation?

Hello everyone,

i have installed Alfresco Community  5.0d on FreeBSD using this guide:

At the beginning, the guide says: "Use this method of installing if you already have installed a JDK, a supported database, an application server, and the additional Alfresco components."

I have installed tomcat7, MySQL Server 5.6.

When I try to login using admin/admin i get the message: Ihre Authentifizierungsdaten wurden nicht erkannt oder Alfresco ist zurzeit nicht verfügbar. (translates as credentials invalid or Alfresco not available)

Are there any logs I can provide for further information?

the access log (/usr/local/apache-tomcat-7.0/logs) is the only one that changes when i try to login. here it is:

Hello Andre78, the problem probably is not in the password and the user (admin/admin), but in some of the installation procedure, check your logs (alfresco.log and share.log) in the root directory of your alfresco.

it's quite late, but thank you for your reply. I learned that it takes some more steps to install than I did. Finally i got alfresco running perfectly on FreeBSD (in a FreeNAS Jail). I will post the steps in the installation forums.
