How to limit number of running workflow-instances?

Hi Activiti-experts,

Is there a way to model workflow where I can control the maximum number of running instances of a particular workflow? For example, we would like to say that only single instance of the workflow can run at a time?

You can run the query for any running instances and based on that you may deny or allow creation of another instance.
