How to integrate Apache Activiti to an existing web application

Hi Team,

We have a web application which is already in place, Now we want to integrate Apache Activiti in our web application,
Please find the details
a) need to create a case management workflow
b) Register a case
c) assign the case
d) close the case

In this regards, Please could you help me on any sample use case which resembles the given scenario.
