I am Sreedhar Ambati and I am new to Alfresco installation. I am using Microsoft technologies for most of my work. I am not that much comfortable with MYSQL.
Can anyone tell me in step by step how to configure Alfresco in my WIndows Server 2003 system? What are all required to install Alfresco? How to configure them in my Windows system?
On the downloads page for Alfresco Labs, http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Download_Labs, there is a link for a PDF file that says "Installation and Configuration instructions". That is your best starting point.
If you install one of the complete packaged releases, that should come with an installer that should walk you through setting it up. See http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Labs_3_Final_download_files. The pre-packaged Alfresco comes with a built-in Apache Derby database, so no need to install or configure MySQL.
