How to Hide Default Spaces In company Home

Hi

I want to Hide the default spaces in company home like(data dictionary,User homes,Web projects,Web deployed etc…)
I donot want to show these spaces when login through Admin user.
Please  anyone help me on this.

As far as I know, it won't work for the admin user(s) ( since it is a special role ). But for the other users, you could just disable the permissions on the top folders (and disable inherited rights), then recreate them on the children folders. It is more important for the "Data Dictionary" space, since lots of things are stored there, so the users won't see the space, but will still be able to use the webscripts, templates…

It doesn't really matter the source of the users or their number, since the permissions aur for the group Everyone. I think the group needs consumer access for all the subfolders (data dictionary), except the "saved search" folder, where it needs write access. Just check the herited rights on the folders and reassign them.

Note : do not EVER delete system folders like "Spaces". It could later mess up deployment or updates (took me 2 months to figure that out on a client's system….)
