How to give Customized permissions

I am using Alfresco 3.2 Enterprise Edition. I have a task that I need to give permissions for the built in user roles. For example, Consumer can view the folder,view content invite others and Take the ownership. Since am a newbie to this, please help me in this issue.

Hi, you can add your own customised roles in the permissionDefinitions.xml file in tomcat/webapps/alfresco/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/model folder. I'm not sure how you can do your own custom file of this but that is where you can change permissions and how they're defined.
