how to get the email notifications?

i am using alfresco3.2.if any document uploaded in my site & i am not checking that site.how to get email notifications to my general mail?

Currently, you need to use the Explorer client to create an "inbound" rule which will email the notification. We are planning to make rules available in Share for version 3.3
