Hello,
there is no standard mechanism to file / archive workflow tasks, neither in Share nor in RM. Workflow tasks are runtime objects. If something from a workflow task should be filed / archived long term, the workflow should contain the necessary functionality to do so. Since a workflow can be just about anything with regards to business solutions depending on the implementation, it is generally speaking impossbile to provide a standard archiving feature that fits a significant majority of use cases.

Hi Axel Faust, thanks for your prompt response!
If we can't archive the workflow tasks, the completed tasks will be in a long list. Do you have any good ideas to handle it?
Thanks!

Hello,
in most environments I have seen, completed tasks of a certain age are cleaned up on regular occasions, i.e. every quarter, by a prepared script that deletes the process instance and the associated workflow packages in Alfresco. The WorkflowService.deleteWorkflow(workflowId) is your friend here - or the equivalent remove() operation on a JavaScript workflow instance object.

For the file archiving and data archiving task you can use data archiving software. it offers rich features designed to boost organisational productivity, streamlining data availability, data management and E-discovery tasks, while users can seamlessly restore data by clicking on tiny stubs in place of archived files.I would like to suggest you sharearchiver file archiving software.
