How to edit the Alfresco Share >> from title tab

Hello,

This is hidden in here: share/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/messages/slingshot.properties

Change the page.title to get a new result. Hope that helps.

Hello sir,

I have tried this early but it is not working…The Title of share is still "Alfresco Share >> Login".I have switched of the alfresco server and on it, and i checked it was not changed.But after, I have changed all slingshot files,then changed. Thank you so much for helping me…      

Note: ( slingshot, slingshot_de, slingshot_en, slingshot_es, slingshot_fr, slingshot_it, slingshot_ja ) These are the files I have changed.

I have using Alfresco from past 29 days, I'm not able to hide the Wiki - from the dashlets. Its default title for wiki dashlet.Plz help me to solve this problem     .

Hi Linesh,

I missed your post, it seems. Anyway if you still haven't found the solution - dashlets have their own resource files to load titles from.
So you have a few steps to change their text.
1) Locate the dashlet you're looking for:
http://192.168.254.21:8888/share/page/index/all
There you can see that the Wiki dashlet is at

Descriptor:   classpath:alfresco/site-webscripts/org/alfresco/components/dashlets/wiki.get.desc.xml‍

2. Now, find the resource files for that dashlet in that classpath:
$TOMCAT_HOME/share/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/site-webscripts/org/alfresco/components/dashlets/wiki.get.properties

(I bolded the common part from the classpath above.)

3. Edit that file, redeploy and for this, you can only refresh the webscripts (at http://192.168.254.21:8888/share/page/index - click Refresh Web Scripts).

That should do it.
