Please respond all people may be did this.
I changed all the .properties files under alfresco/messages including webclient.properties.
But still no luck. please help me out.
Please tell me the name of the jsp which contains that tab and the appropriate .properties file.

It's right there in webclient.properties - I just tested it.

hi Mike,
I tried with the file which you mentioned .
see the following lines.

# My Alfresco messages
my_alfresco=My Dashboard
title_my_alfresco=My Dashboard

still it is showing "My Alfresco"
even i restarted the server still luck is not reaching me.
i'm using labs 3.0 stable version. And i want to add one more link to that tab. which jsp i need to modify to do that.

If you restarted the server, make sure the .war file didn't redeploy and overwrite your changes.

It's referenced in titlebar.jsp - easiest way to find out where is to search all the .jsp files for the i18n key, i.e. "my_alfresco" in this case.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi mike,
yes i have taken the care to avoid redeployment of .war file. I completely removed it from web-app folder.
Still it is showing "My Alfresco". for a while i hardcoded it in titlebar.jsp.
I know it is not a solution but no otherway to go for….

Hello There.
To change the the links of HELP and RAISE AN ISSUE
go about as follows
1.   Changing the “Raise an issue” hyperlink on title bar
2.   Change the value for variable raise_issue(In webclient_en_US.properties) which by default is “Raise an issue”.
3.   The default link given in the <a> tag of titlebar.jsp, which is called from Raise an issue is
      http://www.alfresco.com/services/support/issues/
      change this link to the required custom link.
4.  For HELP
     In web-client-config.xml locate the <help-url> tag to get the URL changed  for help
    <help-url>http://www.alfresco.com/help/31/enterprise/ExplorerHelp</help-url>
     Changed as a sample to
     <help-url>http://www.google.co.in/</help-url>

Hope these steps help.Dont forget to make a server restart after every change. Smiley Very Happy

i did some changes like this to JSP pages. they worked after I refreshed the web browser. it asked me to resend, I say yes and it worked. but after about 5mints the system went down. means the browse started to give error messages instead of the alfresco pages. is it necessary to restart the server after each JSP change. isn't it enough to just refresh the browser? if anyone knows help me. thanks
