Hi All,

I am using Alfresco 3.0. I want to configure Alfresco so that it does not create Guest Home, Company Home folders in the repository and instead creates some customised folders, when the alfresco war is deployed on tomcat. I tried to look at the source code but could not figure out that exactly where these folders are getting created in the code. If someone can point me to that, that would be great too.

thanks
Natasha

It's all done in a bootstrap package via XML files.

A warning though - most of the code expects Company Home to be there, so I doubt you'll get very far trying to remove it.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike

Thanks for the response. I actually need to remove just Guest Home and not really Company Home. Should that be fine?
Also can you please point to specific files which I might have to modify to remove Guest Home.

thanks

In the source tree:
projects / repository / config / alfresco / bootstrap

The Guest Home is created as parts of spaces.xml

Thanks,
Mike

Otherwise you can only desactivate the Guest account in authentiction-services-context :

<property name="allowGuestLogin">
            <value>false</value>
        </property>

and remove "consumer" permission on guest folder.
