How Do You Backup Alfresco Community 3.2 on Ubuntu 9.04

I recently installed Alfresco Community 3.2 on Ubuntu 9.04 and it is working well on my local network. I can add content and view it on all the computers on my network. I was curious as to how you back up the physical data? I am able to back up the database easily enough but I have not been able to back up the actual data.

Well actually let me rephrase that… How do I find out what Directory the files are stored in. Most guides say that you choose the directory, I was never asked to choose one so i have no idea where they installed ><

Thanks!

Thank you for the speedy response. I have seen this post before but am unable to locate the root directory and where the files are stored, when I installed it the installer did not ask me where I wanted to have the files located, it just did it lol.

Look for a folder called 'alf_data'

If you did nothing and are on tomcat then its probably in tomcat_home.

If you used the Linux installer it defaults to /opt/Alfresco as the root directory, meaning that the data files are stored in /opt/Alfresco/alf_data.
