How can i check the expressions like normal java conditions

I want to check the normal java conditions like a<b ,if condition is true send the mail to user otherwise end the task .
how can i do it .Please help me.

What do you mean with 'check'? Get the value?

In this case, the sales group will be set as candidateGroup for your user task.
Put the value in a process variable if you want to 'check' its value, and reference the process variable with an expression in your xml.
