How Can i change User Model Fields?

Hello,
I have to add some fields into User Model (User Class) ,  is it possible to add such fields ?

Please search the internet–several people have asked this question. Here is one tutorial which shows how to do this in 3.4:

This will not work exactly as stated for versions later than 3.4 but the general idea is the same.
