Hi Please guide me how can i undeploy and redeploy workflow definations in alfresco-5.0.d. Please share exact steps required to do the same with file names etc.

The are two ways in which you can deploy and one way to undeploy workflows. To undeploy workflow you need to access the workflow-console screen and remove the workflow you want to remove. The same console can be used to deploy a new workflow definition. Or the second way to deploy would be to inject the definition through a spring bean.
