Hi,

I am using alfresco 1.3.0. when I go to http://hostname/alfresco, it is going to the page http://hostname/alfresco/faces/jsp/browse/browse.jsp. If I click on Login [guset), in this page, it goes to the login page (
http://alfresco.naturesoft.net/alfresco/faces/jsp/login.jsp). I could login. After I logout from here, I am not able to go to the Guest home page. Even if I type manually the url http://hostname/alfresco/faces/jsp/browse/browse.jsp, it is getting redirected to http://alfresco.naturesoft.net/alfresco/faces/jsp/login.jsp. The reason why I am going to Guset Home is to see the public contents without autentication. Can somebody help me how to avoid this.

Thanks & Regards,
Muthu.

Logout from the application and then close the browser. Re-open the browser and navigate to http://hostname/alfresco/faces/jsp/browse/browse.jsp, you should now see the guest home space again.

Yes . It is working. Can we use http://hostname/alfresco/faces/jsp/browse/browse.jsp without closing the browser?. If a person who doesnot have user account mistakenly clicks the Login, he has to close the browser and reopen the page. Can you give some tips to avoid this.?

thanks and regards,
Muthu.

This process is controlled via cookies, hence the reason for closing the browser to get back to the guest page.

You may therefore be able to find a way to manipulate the cookie we add to make the guest page appear instead of the login page in the scenario you mention.
