Is this possible to list all available groups defined in Alfresco (3.0b) by a JavaScript WebScript?
As we understand, the Lucene Search isn't a solution: http://forums.alfresco.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=10105&p=33414&hilit=groups#p33414

I'm trying to achieve the same thing as LouiSe tried half a year ago.
I'm also looking for any advice that will direct me in the right way. As I understand it, People API isn't exactly cut out for this, since there's no easy way of listing all the groups. So, Java backed Web Script is also an option; something like this:
http://forums.alfresco.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=18199&p=59844&hilit=list+all+groups#p59844
Any help will be appreciated .
Cheers,
Ivan.

A Groups API will be released as part of Labs 3.2, there's an in-progress version in HEAD now.
Thanks,
Mike
