Google-Docs Integration Broken

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone else has recently been experiencing Google-Docs integration problems. Specifically, for our 4.2.d Community installation, a user cannot edit in Google Docs and save any changes. It just says that it failed to save.

I am also experiencing the same problem on 4.2.c, however this install I applied the following patches about a year ago:
alfresco-googledocs-repo-2.0.3-23.amp
alfresco-googledocs-share-2.0.3-23.amp

Has the Google Docs API changed again?
And is there a patch that will fix the problem?

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Michael Peterson

We use 4.2.d as well and have the same issue. I haven't had the time to further investigate. I'd like to keep tabs on this thread if you ever find the answer. We're using the online edit and that is sufficient right now.

I heard that GoogleDocs was being phased out in favor of GoogleDrive. It makes sense, but then again it worries me about the future of this feature.

Besides a fix for the current issue, does anyone know of the status of GoogleDrive in future, yet-to-be-released, versions of Alfresco Community and/or Enterprise?

Thank you.

We also experience this on our Alfresco production server 4.2.f.
I noticed it helps when you log out of Google in your web browser and then start Alfresco and authenticate with Google again when you want to edit a document.

Strange problem!!!

Unfortunately it looks like the google interface has changed (again!)   There will need to be a new googledocs AMP.

Sorry but I don't know more detail to share with the forums.
