Getting items with X Category?

I'm quite new to Alfresco and Im working on setting everything up…

One of our initial ideas was to pull in alfresco data dynamically onto our pages.  So we could (for example) put a control onto the page and say show me everything in the Category "Blue"

But the only query I can seem to come up with GIVES me the Blue category itself

Can anyone point me in the right direction please? :?:

Check out the sourcecode for projects like opsoro, docasu or flexspaces. They show a category-based navigation.
