get user profile (profile at least firstName, lastName & mail) in alfresco while authentication of open ldap

we integrated alfresco 4.2.c with open ldap to authenticate users.
If first time user login to alfresco then alfresco authenticates user from ldap and creating the user.

That created user profile have firstName only. But we need user profile sync with at least these attributes of ldap: firstName, lastName and email.

In otherwords, Alfresco authenticating via ldap But its failing while user mapping. That means alfresco creating user without lastName and mail etc., attributes of ldap.

Let us know development approach, How we can get user profile in alfresco with basic attributes like lastName and mail while ldap authentication.

Please refer the below error stack trace on the console:

I think if you have set all these three properties correctly in your ldap-authentication.properties you should be able to import all three attributes properly.

# The attribute name on people objects found in LDAP to use as the uid in Alfresco
ldap.synchronization.userIdAttributeName=uid

# The attribute on person objects in LDAP to map to the first name property in Alfresco
ldap.synchronization.userFirstNameAttributeName=givenName

# The attribute on person objects in LDAP to map to the last name property in Alfresco
ldap.synchronization.userLastNameAttributeName=sn

# The attribute on person objects in LDAP to map to the email property in Alfresco
ldap.synchronization.userEmailAttributeName=mail

Hi Mitpatoliya,

Let me know for first time login user sync (i.e,. import, logged user properties into alfresco) purpose, Is it mandatory to pass LDAP ADMIN USERNAME AND PASSWORD?
Yeah, I configured the below properties

Yeah I guess that is the missing link over here.
The values you specify on right side should be matching with attribute from ldap you want to map with.

Hi Mitpatoliya,

In our case all properties are right.
By using JXPLORER tool, we are able to fetch ldap users list with anonymous authentication.
Similarly, in alfresco with anonymous authentication can fetch user details and create user while logging first time into it?

Let us know for first time login user sync (that means import logged user attributes into alfresco) purpose, Is it mandatory to pass LDAP ADMIN USERNAME AND PASSWORD?

It will require LDAP Admin Username and PASSWORD AFAIK.
