Get Categories Picker Popup directly without editProperties form

Hi,

Actually, to add any category (or tag) to a folder we must go to the edit properties form, then add/remove categories in that form and finally save the properties.
Whatever i try to do, is to have a button ("Categories") in the actions list. When i click on this button the categories picker popup window must be shown (not the edit properties form) then i can add/remove some categories and when i click on OK it must save them.

How must i do that functionality ?

You can have your custom form which will be having only category selector component.

You can open your custom form on click of your "Categories" button.
