Get authenticated user for WebDAV/CIFS session

For JSF, I can do:

Application.getCurrentUser(FacesContext.getCurrentInstance());‍

When someone copies files using WebDAV (or CIFS), FacesContext.getCurrentInstance() is null. What would be the equivalent?
