We are implementing a pdf store in alfresco 4.0.d and we stumbled upon some unexpected behaviour regarding the thumbnail generation.
We generate some custom sized thumbnails for all our pdf files. For some of the pdfs we loose the text on the thumbnails where as for the other pdfs the text is visible on the thumbnail. I guess it must be some kind of font problem.
My guess is that alfresco uses image magick to convert the first page of the pdf to a thumbnail.
When alfresco creates the thumbnail of the first page the text disappears and when I do the conversion with the convert command-line, the text is visible on the thumbnail. Do I miss something? Is this a configuration issue?
