Future improvements of Datalists?

I'm new to Alfresco and am evaluating it against Sharepoint and CenterStage. I haven't seen a 2011 roadmap for feature enhancements and I'm wondering if there are plans for the datalist content type to offer through-the-web field definition? From what I gather, this content type just recently became customizable, albeit through XML. Our current eRoom users are accustomed to using web forms to create dictionaries (analogue of datalist) with a blank template, then defining the fields. Any plans for similar in Alfresco for a 2011 release?

Don't know if you're still checking for responses, but the roadmap found on

http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/2010_Roadmap#User_Interface_Enhancements_3

seems to indicate that the requested feature is planned for implementation in Project Swift.

I found the following qoute on that page:

"Datalist sorting and filtering options, list export/import, definition and management tools"

-something I'm really looking forward to, if correct 🙂
