Folder structure creation

Hi !

I'm using Alfresco Labs 3 Stable, and I would like to know whether is it possible to create a folder structure calling only once to RespositoryService.update

I.e. if you want to create a folder "E" under the structure /A/B/C/D, can you do it directly so the whole structure is created with just one call to RepositoryService.update or do you have to do a call per each folder in the structure?

Thank you very much

You can create your folder structure and save it as a Space Template in the Data Dictionary. You can then just copy the folder structure and name it as  you need it. See the Space creation wizard code for example of how Alfresco does it.

Thank you for your reply zaizi, but I was thinking more about a situation in which the structure is not always the same.

Imagine your Alfresco is empty and someone needs to create a folder with the structure /A/B/C/D, and then another one needs /H/I, and so on…

I'm working with Alfresco web services and I would like to have a solution based only on the web services. As I said before, I would like to know if I have to make a call for each of the folders or a call for each structure

Thank you very much
