Perhaps it is because I moved Alfresco from 8080 to port 80 that it is causing some strange bug?  I'll also double check the config file but I know I changed it.

OK I completely removed Alfresco and reinstalled this time I let it stay on port 8080.  I reinstalled FlexSpaces and now both the AIR app and the web version are working.

Hi Steve,
I realized we have changed our "company home" so .. that was one of the problems.
AIR is working now, but I have to sit for a while and try to do something with our browser verision.
Will try to go through your questions and post the answers as soon as possible.

Thank you a lot for your help! Really appriciate your effort it is GREAT product and Im looking forward for its future releases. Hope we will have a developer one day that could help with projects like this.

What was the estimated development effort to develop this client?

Another question: if I understand properly, you decided to use WebScripts as the main interface between your custom client and the Alfresco server.

Why didn't you use the Alfresco Web Services interface? Lack of features? Performance issues? Stability? I'm curious…

Couple of months dev effort. It does use webscripts.  Used webscripts since I started with the flex ACE svn code which used webscripts, was easy to develop with webscripts, and the use of webscripts was being promoted. Haven't used the webservices apis so can't compare.  Note, plan to support different data access methods (webscripts, webservices, blazeDS/RemoteObject/AMF, "mock data" with local xml files) in a configurable Cairngorm Delegate layer.

P.S. In addition to the existing Doc Mgt support in FlexSpaces,  some WCM support coming soon.

I will have flex source released in the community version. Also may have an enterprise version.

(Will have first flex/actionscript source release once I finish restructuring for Cairngorm, fix some things).

New FlexSpaces 0.3 release
1. Added some WCM/AVM support to FlexSpaces  prototypes:
navigate / work with files and folders in AVM stores in new WCM tab view with tree and drag/drop/clipboard between dual folder views.
(Also native drag/drop/copy/paste of desktop files into AVM stores in FlexSpceaces+AIR).
2. Added AVM support in webscripts.
3. Bugs fixed.

FlexSpaces 0.4 released

Flex/ActionScript source for FlexSpaces+Browser and FlexSpaces+AIR included in this release.
No longer a prototype, significant work to make the code more well structured, commented, etc.  (Added use of Cairngorm+UM, Supervising Presenter / Passive View presentation patterns.)

New features include icon/grid view and context menu in search results, dockable toolbar/menubar, menu enabling/disabling, XML configuration of context and main menus, start on advanced search (UI only).

License: GPL  (commercial license version also available)

More work needed:
1.  xml config for properties dialog and folder views
2.  noderefs instead of ids from the delegates to the webscripts to work with 3.0 site stores
3.  Edit and update existing needed  to round out the doc mgt features (flexspaces+air does have make avail offline / offline update )
4. etc. etc.

- not checkin option after checkout
- i don't think "make versionable" is work and if this option work how i can view the version please?
- i can't access to guest space and data dictionary space i have a message:
