first contact with activiti code

Hi all,
I'm very new with Activiti and I was looking for something to start with. Then, reviewing some source code, maven structure, unit testing, I was wondering if there might be any problem if I start contributing with some minor changes with poms, cleaning some code, updating deprecated code, and so on.

Ofcourse not, fork it in github, patch things and create pull requests…

Some things might need discussing up front though… Deprecation != removed now…
