Files to be hidden

Hello guys,

I would like to know if there is a way to configure my Alfresco to NOT show files or folders to all users marked in a site as Consumer, if the same files or folders are marked with no priviliges for the Consumers.
Or should I use the GROUP feature in order to hide a file or folder from a specific user in a site?

I know that this is not the main reseaon why alfresco is build for, but my manager are wondering if this can be achieved with this product. My current alfresco version is Community 4.2.c.

You can take inherited permissions off of the document or folder and then assign groups. I think that will be the easiest way for you.
