File permissions that Alfresco sets during deployment

Is there a way to change what file permissions Alfresco sets on files when it deploys them, both when they're a new file and also an existing file?  Is this a setting I can change somewhere either on the server or on the deployment receiver?

I don't think so.

You could have a post deployment callback.

Or you may be able to set a property like UNIX's umask.

However it may be easier to make a small enhancement to the Deployment Receiver.

What's your use case?   What permissions are you trying to set?
