We created a custom content model for a specific set of sub folders where we store all our correspondence with partners, organisations etc. We extended the folder meta data so we could input all kinds of contact information per organisation and then any correspondance/emails from that person into their own folder, it has been like a mini crm system and works well.
However with data lists now in Enterprise, it would be good if we could extract all that contact information into a data list so its even easier to look through. In fact any meta data about items into a data list would be good.
Any suggestions on if this is possible or if anyone else has done anything similar yet?
