External RSS feeds not working how to?

Hi,

External RSS feeds which are not starting with <rss are not working in Alfresco Share dashlet.

for example try: http://rss.slashdot.org/Slashdot/slashdot in Share.

An error get's displayed:
Exception from executeScript - redirecting to status template error: 01170007 Failed to load script '/org/alfresco/components/dashlets/rssfeed.get.js (in classpath store file:C:/Alfresco/tomcat/webapps/share/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/site-webscripts)': 01170006 TypeError: Cannot read property "error" from undefined (file:C:/Alfresco/tomcat/webapps/share/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/site-webscripts/org/alfresco/components/dashlets/rssfeed.get.js#279)

I'm trying to get this http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Rss working under Windows, but for now no luck.

The Slashdot feed uses RDF (RSS 1.x) which the dashlet doesn't support - incidentally, neither does Google Chrome which I used to check the feed. You might be able to run the feed through YAHOO Pipes to turn it into an RSS2.0 feed instead.
